Tickets are now available for the Andy Offutt Irwin Writing Workshops, “Pin the Tale on the Narrative,” on June 4th and 5th, 2020. Irwin, along with fellow storytellers Bil Lepp and Kim Weitkamp, are the three featured storytellers at the Flatwater Tales Storytelling Festival on June 6, 2020 at the Historic Grove Theater in Oak Ridge.

Writing workshop sessions, to be held at the UT Arboretum Auditorium, 901 S. Illinois Avenue in Oak Ridge, are Thursday, June 4th from 12:30 p.m. – 3:30 p.m. and Friday June 5th from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Register for the workshops. Click here. Renowned storyteller Andy Offutt Irwin is one of the most sought-after performing storytellers in the U.S. He is a perennial favorite at the Teller-in-Residence Program at the International Storytelling Center in Jonesborough, Tennessee. In addition to being a storyteller, he is an arts educator, keynote speaker, theater director, song writer, comedian, newspaper columnist, camo counselor and Shakespearian actor. 

Irwin’s writing workshops are sought after and tickets often sell out. In addition to being entertained, participants will learn to tell write their own story in their own narrative.
