Event Details

The City’s Recreation and Parks Department has customized the Oak Ridge High School courts with three distinct sets of color coded lines. White lines for the fourteen regulation tennis courts. Orange lines were added this past summer to four courts for the racquet sport pickleball. Blue lines were added to six courts for kids ages 10 and under. This allowed local teaching pro David Bowman to install kid sized nets for youth tennis tournaments sanctioned by the United States Tennis Association.
With such great resources and opportunity for Oak Ridgers and guests to use a racquet facility unique in the greater Knoxville area, David Bowman will host a Tennis Olympics, Pickleball Exhibition, and ages 10 and under Tennis Instruction on October 28th from 2-4pm! Youth and adult, all ages are welcome!
Registration is taking place at the Oak Ridge Civic Center and is a $20.00 entry fee.
