Founded in 1993, this wonderful community orchestra has provided performance opportunities for musicians and audiences in Oak Ridge and in Knoxville. Its mission is to foster lifelong appreciation and enthusiasm for classical and contemporary orchestral music. The repertoire is selected for both practical educational value and an appeal to a broad spectrum of people. Appearances by guest soloists add to the luster of these enjoyable events.

Under the direction of Dr. Marcelo Urias, students, teachers, and amateur and professional musicians come together in a relaxed atmosphere to share their musical and technical skills. They are guided each week with masterful musicianship and careful rehearsal technique to ensure beautiful public performances that inspire everyone. Membership is open to anyone who has the necessary ability to participate in this all-volunteer ensemble.

Admission is FREE. However, donations are greatly appreciated!
